After being published in a Swedish fantasy/erotica anthology Maria wanted more. She’s dabbling in both short stories and full novels. Fantasy and romance are combined most of the time. She’s also known for writing fanfictions on the side. Maria lives in Sweden with her husband, three kids and an unsocial cat. When she’s not on maternity leave she works full time and writes as often as she can. She writes in both English and Swedish and has published three short stories. Telling stories of resilient women, Kathryn hails from upstate New York and is a spouse, and mother of two wonderful and energetic kids. In between being Chief Home Officer and Director of Child Development of the Biel household, she works as a school-based physical therapist. She attended Boston University and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The Sage Colleges. After years of writing countless letters of medical necessity for wheelchairs, finding increasingly creative ways to encourage the government and insurance companies to fund her clients’ needs, and writing entertaining annual Christmas letters, she decided to take a shot at writing the kind of novel that she likes to read. Her musings and rants can be found on her personal blog, Biel Blather. She is the author of Good Intentions (2013), Hold Her Down (2014), I’m Still Here (2014), Jump, Jive, and Wail (2015), Killing Me Softly (2015), and Completions and Connections: A Romantic Holiday Novella (2015), and Live For This (2016). You can find her at www.kathrynbiel.blogspot.com.
Stephanie spent most of her middle and high school years with her nose buried in novels and composition books. Reading and writing got her through adolescence unscathed and on to college where she abandoned an elementary education degree her second year to become an English major. With a degree under her belt, she works an ordinary job and when her husband isn’t calling her to play video games, she wreaks havoc in imaginary worlds. She is a guest columnist for her local paper, very into blogging, and trying to finish four full length stories in 2016.
Christine, a member of In Print Professional Writer’s Group, co-authored Baylyn, Bewitched and Cat, Charmed, with her sister Jennifer Starkman. They are whimsical stories about witches with secrets, available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords. She is happily married with three children and one granddaughter. Christine blogs humorous stories at the Life and Times of Poopwa Foley. She has multiple short stories published in the Not Your Mother’s Book anthologies, and is happy to include her latest short story, Noah Cane’s Candy, in the first Writing Wenches Anthology.
Madeline is the author of Abhorrence and Affection, a sensual romance for the Jane Austen fan. She spends her days dreaming about her own Mr. Darcy (who she hasn’t been fortunate enough to meet yet) and WRITING… instead of doing something productive… like finding a “real” job. You can read more about Madeline at MadelineCourtney.blogspot.com.
Niki never thought she’d be a writer, let alone an author. She dreamed of being a cover illustrator like Michael Whelan, or a Disney animator. She hated, with a capital H, writing. Then the characters showed up, dragging their backgrounds, amazing worlds, random scenes, bits of dialogue and plot layers. They have since taken over her brain, and the warmest corner in her living room, which is where she types away, though not as fast as she would like. You can give her tushie a swift… errrr, encouraging kick by visiting her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/nikidaninger or website: https://nikidaninger.wordpress.com/
As a teenager, Beverly thought the words were supposed to drip from her pen as golden, perfectly shaped pearls. Then she discovered REwriting. She’s been writing (and rewriting) ever since. She’s finished several spicy women’s fiction novels, none of which she was willing to publish (see rewriting, above). Her super-sexy Emergency Stop was included in Five Minute Love Stories, an anthology from the Los Angeles Romance Authors chapter of RWA. You can read two more of her short-short stories at BeverlyDiehl.com. She’s an active member of Sex Positive World, a proud Slutwalker and feminist, a breast cancer sur-thriver, and enslaved to two teenage kittehs, Creativity and Motivation. She’s working on a memoir as well as some sexy romance stories (there’s some overlap there, just sayin’), and blogs about boobs, writing, kittens, hot firefighters, and more at Writing in Flow.

Mia writes lush romances starring fun, sexy characters who love to get down and dirty. She’s a sucker for working class heroes, brainy heroines and wisecracking best friends. When she’s not lost in a story, Mia spends her time cooking, gardening, traveling, volunteering and looking for her keys. In a past life, she was a classroom teacher and still has a pretty good “teacher voice” and “teacher stare.” She lives in the heart of Los Angeles with her roguish husband and two waggish dogs. Please connect with her on Twitter @miahopkinsxoxo or visit her website www.miahopkinsauthor.com.
Suzie is a writer of Romance and Chick Lit novels. She lives in Australia with her husband, children, and half a zoo of pets. She has a teaching background (please don’t hold that against her) but needed to escape. She is a massive foodie and used to own her own business baking and decorating cupcakes and birthday cakes (How can that even be considered a job right?). Most of her books mention food, recipes, cooking, eating, and some even include recipes. She just can’t help herself. She is also a reality TV junkie and a movie buff. It’s a side effect from working with teenagers for the last 10 years. She loves to read but mostly Chick Lit (romantic comedies), biographies, true stories, and a little bit of romance. She loves to chat and have thought provoking conversations about love and life but also likes a good laugh. She has a sick sense of humor and can be rude and crude, but she’s also the queen of dad jokes. You can find her at www.suziejay.wix.com/author
Samantha has wanted to be an author since she picked up her first book and realized authors get to create new worlds with just a pen and paper (or laptop, if you will). She loves to write about romance because, as someone who married her high school sweetheart, she absolutely believes in true love. She also loves making people laugh and feels love and laughter go hand in hand. If she can make someone both swoon and giggle with her words, she considers that a success. When not writing or at her day job, Samantha can be found either singing and dancing on stage in local musicals, or at home watching geeky television shows with her husband and their pet rabbit. Her debut, FLIRTING WITH FAME, will be published by Pocket Star/Simon & Schuster on February 29, 2016. You can find her at www.facebook.com/Samantha-Joyce-648911275228614.
Jude has been telling stories all her life: making up serial tales to amuse her friends and children, imagining sequels to books that have moved her and left her wanting more, occasionally submitting short stories to magazines and the radio, starting more than a dozen novels set in different times and places. She has devoted most of the last forty years to a career in commercial writing and raising a large family (most recently as grandmother-in-residence while a daughter was out of action for three years). She and her own personal romantic hero, with whom she has shared those forty+ years, now live with two cats and frequent visitors in a small town in rural New Zealand. Jude wrote and published her first historical romance in 2014, and now has the wind in her sails and a head full of strong determined heroines, heroes with the sense to appreciate them, and villains you’ll love to loathe. You can find her at www.judeknightauthor.com.
Michelle is the proud mother of three wonderful kids, who remind her every day why she does this. She also works full time in the telecommunications field. Writing is a passion that came very late in life to her. She didn’t grow up wanting to be a writer, but she did fantasize and daydream a lot growing up and it just never occurred to her to share those adventures with the world.
As a reader, she loves adventure, and she thinks at some point she was tired of revisiting the stories in her head and wanted to just pick up a book and read what she was imagining. She wanted the work to be completed already. She realized after chewing through many series that she was never going to find what she was actually looking for that maybe it was time to share the stories instead.

Michele is a new writer of paranormal romance and horror. She also dabbles in erotic fiction under the name Ele Marie Kenzie. From an early age, Michele had a passion for storytelling and would write sequels to her favorite books in crayon. Growing up in a haunted house ignited her passion for all things scary, and when other kids her age read fairy tales and comic books, she read Stephen King and Anne Rice. She fell in love with the craft of writing in college while pursuing an art degree and became creatively charged while living in New York City. She currently resides in Nashville, TN with her three rescue dogs and one diva cat. When she’s not writing, she’s talking about writing on social media or binge watching episodes of Supernatural and The Walking Dead. Follow Michele on Twitter and Instagram @authormohr and on Facebook as Author Michele Mohr.
Melody lives in southeastern Michigan where she’s a full-time caretaker. Having her mom, brother, and husband in the house, she often retreats to quiet places and reclaims her sanity by getting lost in the design process and creating kick butt book covers for authors. She couldn’t help getting bitten by the writing bug after spending so much time with writers and authors, and is proud to be writing her first book, a horror/romance novel. When she’s not writing, cover designing, or taking care of her family, she loves testing the limit on new recipes in the kitchen and hunting up bargains to feed her crafting and DIY heart. You can find Melody at BookCoversByMelody and www.bookcoversbymelody.wordpress.com. She tweets at @CoversByMelody.
Misti is a sadistic b*tch who loves to emotionally torture fictional people. If she did that in real life, she’d probably end up in prison or a psych ward. So she prefers to create dirty talking alphas and the sexually frustrated women who fall into their beds. And if someone needs to be smacked upside the head before f*cking turns to love, then that makes her very happy indeed. You can find Misti at www.mistimurphy.weebly.com or on Facebook at Misti Murphy.
Colleen plays many roles. Not only is she a veteran, a mother, and a practicing physician, but she is a writer of science fiction and contemporary romances. Colleen’s dreams include surviving her son’s teenage years, exploring every continent on this planet, except Antartica, cause that’s way too cold, and winning the Nobel peace prize. Dream BIG! Currently she is working on Whole Again, a contemporary romance that she hopes to see published in the future. In the meantime, look for her at Three Rivers Romance Writers, at www.csmyersmusings.com, Colleen Myers, and at @ColleenSMyers.
Quenby lives in Central Pennsylvania where she spends most of her time writing, glaring at baskets of unfolded laundry, and chasing the cat off the kitchen counters. She lives with her husband and three children, who do nothing to dampen her love of classical ballet, geeky crochet, and staying up late to watch old episodes of Doctor Who. Her first novel, Knotted, is a humorous coming-of-age tale, while her later works stretch across all genres. You can find her at www.quenbyolson.wordpress.com.
Grace is married to a wonderfully patient man who is convinced she has ADD. Her short attention span is great for raising four active boys, not so much for doing grown-up things, which also means writing is a challenging process for her. But she loves to write so she forces herself to sit longer than five minutes without getting sucked into the rabbit hole that is the internet or impromptu football games. She is currently working on her first manuscript, and second, and third (see, short attention span). Her ramblings can be found at www.graceravel.com.
Jennifer loves a good love story and the endless possibilities in telling a story. She pretends to be organized in a sea of to-do lists while chauffeuring around her two children to their endless activities. While waiting in the car, she sips her coffee and escapes to make-believe worlds full of destiny, love, and strength. If she has any spare time, she bakes sweet treats, dances with her children to the music in her head, and curls up on the couch with her husband watching their backlog of DVR-ed TV shows. Since they live in the southeast, Jennifer takes the opportunity to drink sweet tea and say y’all whenever she gets a chance. You can find Jennifer at www.jenniferraybooks.com.
Hollie has lived around the country but always come home to Florida. No matter what anybody says there are true Southerners in Florida. Her family roots are strong. She believes family includes those that you let into your heart. Her two nieces and nephew are her world. She loves to write, read, cook, travel, and take care of her parrot and several horses. She’s still waiting to find the right dog. Entering her world is similar to sliding through a Wonderland hole or tripping about a Grimes Fairy tale. Never knowing what will come. She’s a published poet and an aspiring novelist. She’s written short stories and poetry since childhood. Writing is therapy. This means there is also beauty in the darkness. She’s an open book so if you have any questions feel free to ask. You can find Hollie at www.facebook.com/
DeAnna, a self-professed geek amongst The Wenches, has been telling stories since she was just a kid on the long bus rides to school in northern Michigan. As an adult she’s still telling stories to amuse her friends and family – in role playing games, blogs, and now in her attempt to become a published author. When not entertaining the important people in her life and pursuing her dream of becoming a published author, DeAnna is a busy wife, mom, and executive assistant for her local chamber of commerce. You can follow her journey online at www.deannamross.wordpress.com.
Jennifer was born and raised in San Francisco, CA, and is married with two children. If she’s not singing along at the top of her lungs to whatever is playing on the radio, you can find her making music playlists at home on her laptop. She works full time and splits her spare time between family, reading, blogging, and writing. Other than English, Jennifer speaks Spanish, Moroccan, and a little French. She loves to travel, but doesn’t do enough of it and will weave places she has gone or wants to go into her stories. Reading has been a passion for most of her life and she loves to write. She calls herself Your Sweet and Spicy Romance Author because she loves the sweet nuances of new love, but also is a bit of a voyeur and wants to be in the bedroom when the characters finally come together. You can find Jennifer at www.yoursweetandspicyromanceauthor.com.
Michael writes New Adult / Adult Thriller, Suspense, and Mystery novels. His short fiction is all over the spectrum in genres and categories. He writes romance into his novels since if we love our characters then we want them to have affectionate relationships (right before we ruin their fictional lives). He spends way too much time tracking storms and chasing his daughter. He is sure there is a special place in hell for abusers of ellipsis and exclamation points. Michael tweets at @michaelsimko1 about writing, technology, and storms.

Samantha K. Williams
Samantha is a passionate marketer and entrepreneur. As a founding member of PageCurl Publishing and Promotion, and a book marketing manager for Booktrope Publishing, Samantha is usually busy helping authors reach their publishing or book marketing dreams. In her spare time, she pens the name S.K. Wills and writes sweet (and sometimes steamy!) contemporary romance where her heroes have to work for love just like the rest of us do. Considered a “hybrid” author, S.K. loves learning the ins and outs of publishing, making friends all over the world, and connecting with fellow writers and authors, all from her home in Southeastern Michigan. She fuels her insatiable dream-chasing with what some would consider an unhealthy amount of coffee, and she wouldn’t have her crazy busy life any other way. To learn more, visit her at skwills.com.
